335 n55 JB finally installed :)

First i would like to thank RPM North in Planview for their help!!

As soon as it was installed started the car it started right up. No check engine light came on and everything was good.

I have to say the JB is so far well worth it ever dollar!! As soon as i got on the highway was in 2nd gear and i just hit it and the car just launched. The turbo lag has been reduced and the power increase from stock is amazing. The car is just so smooth when accelerating. I cant wait for stage 2 to come out!. Especially the weather in New York right now perfect weather for turbos. I plan on doing a run against a buddy of mine with a 335 n54 jb3 to see how well it does against it. I have awd so, at some point i want to dyno the car as well. This morning on the cross island ane evo VIII rolls up next to me sounded like he had work done to it. I know those cars are quick , he pulls next to me and i hear him downshift. We pretty much both take off the same time, and just gotta say WOW. Was a good race and i took him by 1 car . He was def pissed because after we ran, he wouldnt even come next to me or close to me again

All said and done its a Great product !!

Even faster if you've done it once. More time is spent finding the sensors then installing the actual tune.

Am I the only one who has trouble removing/installing the metal clip on the sensor under the passenger side of the engine? I recently took the jb3 off for a dealer visit and ended up breaking off the metal clip after trying to remove it for about 25 minutes. I'll have to come up with a different method to secure the sensor when I reinstall it..The rest of the install is a breeze.
On a side note, my car feels much slower in the midrange and partial throttle now that the JB3 is off. Full throttle still feels pretty strong.

Edit: I got curious and reread the installation instructions which say to PUSH the metal clip in, not pull..I went into the garage and easily popped to clip off than back on..During the first installation I completely removed the metal clip to remove the sensor. I feel like an idiot for breaking the clip yesterday.
