Anyone notice the inclusion of door tweeters in certain base stereos?
I have an 09 lci base stereo which has the door mounted tweeters. Anyone know why some other base stereos didn't come with them? Also with my base stereo will adding the center channel dash speaker improve my audio? If so which channel should I wire it into?

Knew it couldn't be base with the tweeters. Still nowhere near the L7 I had in my 07 335i. I was thinking about upgrading but maybe easier just to order a new car with the options I want. Sigh..

Turbos and Stereos.. Pretty much only thing important lol. Just wishing they had a 2010 335 in stock when I picked up this 328i loaner. Figured it just drive it till they get one in.

It was time I got rid of my high mileage 335i unfortunately. The services and warranty deductibles were getting $$$$$.

Am I correct in that the center channel speaker is part of the Logic7 digital amplifier? I can't imagine wanting one without DVD/Nav/Idrive when watching movies while parked. I have (wife and I) watched chick flicks in her Miata to score some brownie points for .....well, anyway. Watching movies in the car stinks. What music is recorded with a center channel in mind? None that I know of.
I have the HiFi in my 07 328i and it lacks a lot. I haven't started down the upgrade road yet but will soon. I'm sure I'll start with better speakers first. |

Yeah, I decided after speaking with technic the best upgrade I should do is replace the stock subs under the seats with sws8s and let the head unit power them.
