Wasnt a fun thing to do. Specially when the jack got stuck after doing the second wheel. Car got lower when I put one 16" on and even on it's lowest setting jack didn't slide out. I had to bang the hockey puck out and do the other wheels without the puck.
Quick question. What tire pressure should be in 16" 205 ?

Lol I don't spend as much time on here as I used to Raj. Plus I like to have my own thread, plus it's kinda hard to search with an iPhone

Shouldn't the stock 16s that is not staggered have idential tire pressures front and back?

Not sure about the 16s, but I have the non-staggered 17s on my car and the sticker on the door jam calls for different pressures for the front and rear.

With the exception of the wagon, door placard for cars with 16" (205/55 R16) specifies 32F/36R for sub-100 mph driving. (I wouldn't go much higher than this for winter tires)
Recommended pressures are also in your manual for this and all other OEM tire combos - see tables starting on p. 122. ("Wheels and Tires") |

Anyone have fun driving around today? I'm in Markham and had to visit some friends in Stouffville, and I all I can say is that I love my tires!!!
Going up 9th line, 4 cars in the ditch including two SUVs. One R Class rear-ended by an Accord. On the way back, Police had closed the road and had me detour thru Elgin Mills. Didn't realize the downhill turn right before the Hwy 48 intersection, slammed on the brakes and tires grabbed like it was dry! Wife didn't realize how worried I was until I mentioned it. Anyways, this is my first RWD car (every day use), and first set of Winters, and all I can say is... I want more snow!!! |
