Question Hidden Feature: Comfort Access? ... or at least half of it?

Anyone else experience this? Anyone know why?

First things first: I DO NOT HAVE COMFORT ACCESS...

After driving my car, I can turn it off, remove the key, and still start the vehicle using the on/off button, all the while with the key FOB removed. I can drive it this way, etc, etc, without the key FOB on me. Seems like this would be a liability???

Any ideas what's going on?

It's not half of comfort access or anything resembling it.

You can only start the car after you have started it with the key. You can't unlock it and you couldn't start the car after unlocking the car without the key.

This is a well known "feature" or "bug" or however you wish to characterize it.

This _isn't_ a bug so why would a software update fix this? It was designed so that you can start the car again within 30 seconds after removing the key. If you go beyond that period of time or close the car in between you can not start it again without the key.

This feature can be usefull in the winter when you want to keep your car running (if you are in a store shortly for example) or think of cases where the REST button just won't do.
