Question Transferring Sat Radio Module between different cars?

Here is my situation...I have an 08 335xi with satellite radio. I purchased the module or watever it takes to make it seperately. Now I want to remove whatever they installed and put it a 2006 M5. Is this possible? If not I would still like to take out the module and other things and sell them on here. Any assistance would be a aprreciated. Thanks in Advance

Yup same receiver part number so will be fine. It probably will need recoding for the m5 ... Also make sure the m5 has sat nav prep ... In other words the wiring harness for sat radio.

One final thing. Your need to buy a different mounting bracket for the receiver as it's different between the 3 and 5.

Good luck.
