Meth lines leaking

I just got my ISF-30 controller back from Labonte and I can not seem to get the lines to stop dripping where they connect to the unit. Any suggestions?

send it back, bad push fitting. I'd also ensure that the end of the meth line is straight and sharp.

I'm going to try cutting the ends again and see if that help. If not I'll contact them about fixing it AGAIN!

Maybe I should ask Dan for an ifs-10. Same thing without the 5v trip point which isn't needed.

I had the same problem at the solenoid that came with the Labonte kit. I cut the hose many times but still it leaked like hell , then i changed all the hoses with some hose that i bought myself and it doesn't leak annymore.

The hose that comes with the kit seems to fit fine on the push fittings of the failsafe and pump , but on the solenoid it leaked alot.

i sealed my labonte solenoid with teflon paste on the inlet and outlet threads, never leaked again.

I'm have it the other way around. I may try some different hose, at least the hose from the pump to the controller to see if that solves the issue on that leak. It seems to be leaking around the actual push in area. I'm also wondering if the cold weather is having an effect on the hose, as it didn't leak when it was warmer out side.

I have put thread tape around the end of my hose and then crammed it in and it helped for a bit, but I have also found hunks of thread tape in my nozzle filters and pump as well. Try to find some hose with a slightly larger OD. I know its not the best stuff to use as meth will eventually eat through it but sprinkler hose line from lowes has helped me on more than one occasion. Might want to try taking the failsafe out of the car instert the hose and then run a bead of RVT on the connector if you desperate and are pretty accurate with an applicator. I had the same problem with the connectors on my pump. I ended up switching the head eventually. Sometimes you can look in the connector and see the metal teeth that hold the line in place. After so many in and outs, the teeth get pushed in and don't hold the line in place as well. Shoot some pressure through it and the line pushes out and leaks. If you take a jewlers screwdriver, you can pull those teeth (carefully) back out so they hold the line in tight close to the inlet.

Are you using Labonte meth Line??? I bought some and it has a nice soft outer shell to it so that it gives a bit when you stick it in the inelt. The soft outer shell seems like it would form to the inlet well once in place and help keep meth in. Their accessories should be sized to work optimally with their line. Some manufactures warn you about using other companys line with their accessories. The Labonte Line seems fat but soft enough to fit into a slightly smaller ID found in some meth parts.

All the labonte push in connectors have plastic orange inserts and they seem to hold up fine. Only on the solenoid they use metal push in inserts and there is where it leaked. I already put teflon on the threads but thats not whats leaking.

And its not really leaking , its more like a tsunami of meth coming out if it

I bought 1/4inch brake hose at a brake shop and it seems to work very good.

I have the lines that came with the PROcede meth kit, I would venture to guess that they are indeed Labonte lines. I will try some line I have at home that I used on my eclipse meth system that I bought from MasterCarr.com. It worked great and I never had any issues with years of use. If that doesn't work I'll call Labonte since this is a new unit that replaced my original under warranty.

Changed out the line from the pump to the ISF-30 controller and it stopped leaking and now every thing is working correctly! I am now seeing the flow via the turn signals as well which I was not. I think there must have been some kinda kink in the line I could not see. Thanks for everyones help!
