where can i purchase "leather" vinyl (like the one used on our dashboards)

i'd like to wrap the center console in this. i have a tiny dent on my aluminum trim (dropped my vacuum on it), and i think it'd look pretty nice wrapped in the same black "leather" as the dashboard and surrounding areas.

may put the manual boot on my auto shift knob to complete the clean look.

well, i found someone that did a leatherette wrapping of the center console, but the person he got the service from seems to have been inactive for the past 6 months

I kno exactly where.. bought some material liek this the other day for a part of a halloween costume.

Check out JoAnn's fabric store in their home improvement section.. not the clothing fabrics section but more of the household use fabrics..

it needs to be UV resistant as well

Check fabric stores, they usually have it on a roll so you can cut as much as you need. As for the UV comment, most cleaners that you use in your car have some sort of uv blocking agent in them. Don't worry about it.
