You guys weren't kidding....
About how hard the ZSP tires get in the winter. My dad called me a little bit ago and was like, "hey it's kinda nice out and all the roads are clear mind taking my car out for a spin since I haven't been able to in about a week". I say sure grab my stuff and head out to the gararge. Mind you my parents garage is about 60+ years old and hardly fits his 330i to begin with. Well I hope in and begin to back up and the tires start to spin. I pull forwards and try again and they spin. There is the slightest incline that you would never notice but apparently these tires do. Farthest I got the car out was maybe 2 ft. I hop out to see if there is anything I can do to get the wheels some grip. It's then that I realized the carpet has frozen to the front tires. I begin yanking at the rug to get it off and I think I got most of it. So I pull forward and try again. This time the tires let loose enough to slide the car the tires width to the left. So now I left it as is with the garage door closed and the car running to warm the garage up and see if that helps. I may have to go to autozone and buy a floor jack to get the car back to center cuz it will be a hard time to get it straightened out without doing any body damage. These tires truely are worthless in the winter haha.

Anyone ever jacked a 330i with ZSP from the rear with a floor jack? Where would be a good point to lift the car? The rear diff looks like the best place to me but just wanted to check. There is not enough room to go under from the passanger side as well as move the car. If not possible what about a tow hook? Just to give a car a yank towards the center of the garage.

Well no worries, just wanted to let everyone know I got the car out. The rug got all cramed up in the driver side wheel well by the control arm. Once that warmed up I could pull it out then just needed a shove to get the car onto dry pavement. I literally cleared the garage door frame by maybe less than an inch. It indeed was a little too close for comfort haha. My dad better buy winter tires next year lol.
