Logic 7 Amp Removal - De-eq and summing, gateway advice
In this thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=352586
Three options are discussed for upgrading the amp: 1. summing and de-equalizing device 2. some type of MOST audio gateway 3. re-program the HU and re-pin the connector. I would rather leave the programming and pin-outs as is, so are there advantages/disadvantages to the other two options? My understanding is that I need something to break down the fiber optic signal to analog outs, correct? So I need one of the above devices to do this. Is one manufacturer better than the other? Does anyone have any links? I tried a couple Google searches, but didn't come up much. My end goal is to remove the L7 amp, add aftermark amps and drivers. EDIT:: Here's the answer: Motus Lab AGW+ Thanks. Last edited by HomeBrew; 12-11-2010 at 01:33 PM.. |
