How long does it take to apply Z-CS?
It takes us about 5 minutes to complete the average vehicle. ^^^5 minutes? I understand it is faster but how the hell could you wipe this on every surface of your car in 5 minutes!! Man, they have speedy gonzales working at their company!! ![]()

sweet... more toys to add to the detailing cabinet.
"While not required, for the ULTIMATE in paint protection and an INCREDIBLE show car finish, use Z-AIO, followed by 2 coats of ZFX enabled Z-5 PRO, then 1 coat of Z-2 PRO (including a Z-6 wipe down between coats) and finish off with an application of Z-CS. Wait 12 hours, then wipe down the vehicle with Z-8. Get your sunglasses out, the gloss may be blinding." Wow... that's a whole lot of work.

These were announced awhile ago - they should be out soon. I am eager to try both. CS seems nice but I actually enjoy the buff off process, it lets me find any spots I missed and it's theraputic. Z-AIO looks very good, it's going to be tough for it to be better than Werkstatt Prime (another great chemical cleaner), but if anyone can do it it's Sal.
Oh, re: 5 minutes - they are probably using a PC. ![]() |

![]() Quick question though - in one of your pictures I saw all of the seals are blue taped. Do you do this every time, or only when you are polishing?

Only when I am polishing; the sealants/waxes I use won't stain trim, so they are ok on any part of the car. Polishes can stain trim and even more a concern - a rotary will shred plastic pretty quickly (a PC won't), so the tape goes on when polishing. I take the tape off after polishing before the alcohol rubdown.

Z-AIO is going to be a product like Klasse All-In-One, in that it'll be a light polish, chemical cleaner, and sealant base. So you *can* use it as you're only sealant layer, but like AIO is normally topped with Klasse HGSG, most guys will want to follow ZAIO up with Z2, Z5, CS, or a combination thereof.
Judging by Zaino's current durability, and the penchant of sealant bases to *add* durability, I can see ZAIO+Z2/Z5 lasting quite a long time. |

I am letting the fine members of Autopia test these out and compare it to the Werkstatt stuff. If indeed CS and Z-AIO is superior, then I can switch to 90% Zaino stuff again.

Like Picus said, you can. However, I would also recommend using Z2 or Z5 on top of the ZAIO. And that's it. You don't have to worry about using any other products. That process is still simple.

I personally can't wait to try ZAIO+Z5pro. Z5pro already lasts for flippin' ever and looks good, so it'll be nice to see it in conjunction with a chemical cleaner designed to work with it.
