Question Best Bulb For a 07 328i Low Beam

I want to upgrade my stock headlight bulbs, don't really want to do a HID conversion. I have the standard headlights that take an H7 bulb. I was wondering what you guys are using and if you had a preferred brand and how many K's. I really want to go as pure white as I can. I wouldn't mind a little tint sense I mostly just want to get rid of the stock yellow. Thanks!

Osram (not Sylvania) Silverstar bulbs will give you slightly whiter light, still be legal and will not decrease light output.

The downside is decreased bulb life and the Osram bulbs are hard to find.

I'd suggest a hyperwhite bulb like the Xenesis Tru Match or GP Thunders. Both are solid OE replacements that work for your low beam halogens, high beams and fogs.

Are those bulbs "street legal?"

I just grabbed some Nokya's, Cosmic White, haven't installed them yet, hope to on the weekend. Hoping they will be whiter than stock, I replaced them first with Sylvania Silver Stars and they made ZERO difference.

I would stay away from GP Thunder H7 bulbs. They are garbage the H7 GP Thunders are terrible. I had them on my 5 series H7 7500k SUPER WHITE bulb and I couldn't see shit. They were only $14 and after 5 months I got HID kit installed on my car.

The H8 GP Thunder 8500k SUPER WHITE are great for fogs though they actually had more light then my H7 GP Thunder 7500k. I would suggest those for your fogs as for your lowbeam just save yourself the time and money wasted and get a HID kit!
