Got a chance to use the Procede NA mode in the snow today!

In the DC metro area we had a few inches dropped off and I've got a heavy e93 pig. I had a chance to drop the Procede into MAP 3 and it made it a heck of a lot easier trying to navigate the roads and keep the car under control. At first, I thought the MAP 3 was going to be a silly gimmick, but today it proved it'self to be very useful.

Anyone else had a chance to use it yet in snow?

+1000
I am pissed enough I have to drive the good old Civic in the snow (and will be washing wheel wells and underside every week on it)... the Bimmer is staying in the garage and getting nowhere near salt.

Yep, having a daily is nice...my fiance thinks i'm crazy, but that is another story.

If i had to drive the bmw in the snow I would def invest in snow tires. I had snow tires on my old 350z and they worked wonders!

Anyone have any reason why I can't switch up past map 1? I updated to V5 and loaded the proper map.

Problem is, even holding the cruise control stalk up, I can only get up to Map 1 and no further.

Hmm, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Shot in the dark... do you have a newer Procede enthusiast version? or is yours a pre-V5 unit?

Na, mine is pre-v5. I should be entitled to all maps and extra gizmos. But now you mention that you make me wonder if perhaps my Procede isn't open to all maps.

When I upgraded to the V5, is there anything else I had to do beside update the firmware?

did you follow the instructions outlined in the V5 documentation? I think you have to idle the car for a few seconds somewhere in the process.

Ya, I followed all instructions when updating the firmware to V5. The car runs perfect but wont let me go past map 1.

1.) Updated Firmware to V5.
2.) I updated the map and then I used the 11-25 6at map from the v5 folder.
