What's the difference between the Philips 6700ks on E92-lighting
And these Ultinon ones, other than nearly 100 bucks?

If he doesn't mind, please post his reply. I'm in the same situation as you, have the OSS and will be buying D1S's from him later this week (waiting for a new cc cycle). Would love to get Mike's version of the fogs and would love to see Derrick take up the mantle of selling them (if he can figure out the source).

Here's what I found out: "Not sure which version "Ultinon" the OP is referring to but the 6700k bulbs are actually rebased by a private company. The "retail" version which costs $100+ more comes directly from Philips of Germany or Japan. The higher cost is due to the original Philips stamping, packaging, etc.. (hence the higher cost)."
Got this info from someone with knowledge of the lights. |
