Since Mike@F1Autohaus was the "keeper of the flame' for the HID fogs, he would be the person to ask - if he were still runnning the business. It appears he has withdrawn from doing business any longer (although his website appears to be active).

If there were a way to find out how (or from whom) he got his HID fogs supplied, there would be an answer. I've asked Luis via PM if he can offer any help, since I think there would be a steady market for the Ultinon D1S 6700K and the rebased Philips HID 6700K fogs. If someone was close to Mike, they might be able to find out from him.

One more idea: if you (or someone you know) is using the group buy with Alex at Helix, it might be a good idea to ask Alex to pursue the idea with Luis. As an active vendor, he might be able to source the bulbs and add to his product line. He might be more motivated to help with this, since he's in the midst of the group buy.

I'll let you know if/when I get a reply from Luis. It's the holidays, so he might be checked out for a few days.

Not only Mike offeres the 6700 ultinon D1s, but his price is very good $189 compared to $250.

Too bad he's outta the game. I'm in the same boat. Got OSS ANGELS via the Helix group buy with D1S 6700 Philips- ace. They recommended Mtec blues 4750k for H3 and H8 fogs which I have. They're bright, but I don't care for the yellowish light they give off..if I could find a 6700k set of H3 and H7 that would be ace..
