voided warrenty need help asap!!1

hey people i need help asap. i have installd ddm hid fogs vista drl harness for the angel eyes i think and lux 5.1 angel eyes. also switched out oem headlight bulbs for 6k. i noticed the passenger side headlight went out so i put the stock one in and it was still out. chkd the fuse it was fine. brought it to the dealership and they said the warranty is voided cuz of the drl harness. my problem is all they said they did was change out the bulb n seen that wasnt the problem. they then diagnosed it was the frm module was burnt out. when i left the dealership half of my lights dont work. before if i turned the headlight switch on the driver side headlight will come on. now if i do that no lights come on and only one side fog light and one side angel eye comes on. also some lights in the rear dont come on now. they screwed something up and i wana fight this. any help???

get yo'self some grammar lessons and type clearer sentences man. after reading this for the 5th time, i THINK i understand what you're saying:

1) when you went into the dealership, your passenger side headlight was out, your driver side headlight was working and all your fogs were working. is that correct?

2) when you left the dealership, no headlights come on and only one fog and one angel come on.

guess what? you shouldve said something at the dealership and it's too late now. also, even if you said something at the dealership, they still wouldve told you that they have no obligation to fix it (which they dont). you're going to have to come out-of-pocket to get this one fixed. next time, if you're taking your car in for a warranty fix, TAKE OFF ALL AFTERMARKET PARTS RELATED TO THE PROBLEM YOU'RE TRYING TO GET FIXED.

sorry about that .. yes you are correct ... i did say something at the dealership and he said all they did was touch the bulb and i said impossible why wouldnt i complain about those problems also. i said all i was complaining about was the passenger bulb being out .. i know i screwed myself on this one.. if i was to speak to a manager you think i can get them to re-look at the car if i keep fightin them saying they screwed something up. i just found out last night that my reverse light stays on now to in drive. maybe i can go to a different dealership and have them fix it or once its in the computers of bmw am i screwed? any help guys i would love it. they want 1600 to fix it.

Option 1: Take out all the aftermarket stuff - at least the stuff related to the problem, as sleepy noted, and then take it to another dealership.

Option 2: Cry and beg with your current dealership and ask them if they'll fix it under warranty if you take out all the after market stuff first and promise them you won't do it again.

What year is your car and how much warranty do you have left?

Buy a Bentley's manual and a new module and install it yourself. Then chalk it up as the price you pay for tampering with your BMW's OEM headlamps.

i think even if you go to a different dealership you wont find any help there because all your work would be in the computer via vin number.

i know this because i had a mercedes that was heavily moded and which ever dealer i went to get the service done it was all listed there.

i ended up lucky and found one dealership that didnt mind the mods and took care of the car for me because the service manager also had his moded.

but like they say it never hurts to try going to another dealership.
(with out your mod parts.)

I would try option 1 first if your car isn't super heavily modded. There's a chance a different dealer might be lenient. G'luck.
