1989 325is All orignal 32,000 miles perfect
I am posting this for a friend of mine. This is an all orignal 1989 325is. It has 32,690 miles on it. Car has never seen the rain. Owned by a Master BMW tech. Car is ALWAYS garaged. Owner was very meticulous about the care and condtion of this car. I doubt you will find one any cleaner or nicer.Still has the window sticker for it. Old car value guides lists this car for $25,000. That will be the asking price. Thanks guys. If you are interested I have tons more pics i can email to you. Just ask. The car is located in St.louis missouri. |

This is a really clean looking E30, why sell it? You'll get nothing for it.
Not even on an really nice E30 M3 you'll get $25k, reckon it on $10k most. With 25K you''ll be able to buy a nice 2002/03 325i E46 sedan with the same mileage over here. |

This post make me miss my first real car...and second
The first car was shared with my mom - doesn't count. First real car was a new 1986 325 with the eta engine. Cosmos Blue/Blue Leatherette. 5-speed. Crank sunroof. Only option was the metallic paint. Awesome until it was rear-ended at 1 year and 12K miles. Replaced by a new 1987 Black/Cardinal Red Leather 325is - also 5-speed. What a hell of a car. I still miss both (especially the black one) to this day. I have never enjoyed a BMW more than my E30 is. My friend had an M3 of the same vintage. It was in the shop constantly and he agreed that my is was more fun to drive as a daily driver and offered nearly the performance. Granted it lacked the wow factor of his M but it was overall a superior car and he agreed (again as a daily). The is in question is worth 12K tops. I have owned many new and used BMW's. I had an awesome 88 635csi in as-new condition with same mileage and I struggled 3 years ago to get 18K for it. The price is way too high but a great car. If I owned it I'd just keep it and enjoy it. My 2 cents.

There was a 1988 (I think) 325XI for sale at my local BMW dealership with 8K original miles 2 years ago......Asking price was $14K and the car was in mint condition.......
This car is in very good condition too but $25K is very steep! But regradless, it is a very nice car.....

at best you will get 9k from a collector. i'd buy it for $5,000 right now as clean ones go for about $3,000. milage on a car this old is irrelevant.
i said, i'd give $5,000, i just checked, with the milage value, the full retail, excellent condition price is $4,995. i'd offer him $6k. let me know. Last edited by imolazhp_ci; 02-12-2007 at 08:26 PM.. |

1989 325is - Original Retail Price (MSRP) $28,950
~ i personally think 13k - 15k is fair price for such a low mileage car in outstanding condition... you'll just need to find a willing buyer. info link: http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/Sp...ries&trimid=-1 .
