Merry Christmas! I have a bonus for DIY!!

Hello everybody! Merry Christmas to all of you!

Since there is not much to do today, I managed to get a coin behind the ashtray/sunglasses cover. Result: it does not fully open - no big deal since there is no rattling noise coming from there...lucky me!

But I would like to remove it some time...soon!!
Does anyone have an idea on how to remove this coin, without removing the whole center console??

I had the same issue with my car. Just wait a few days of driving around and the coin will magically appear under the pullout ashtray; just keep checking for it. But if you can't wait, then check the DIY section; there is a sunglasses holder conversion DIY for the ashtray that will show you how to remove the center console and ashtray holder.

Removing the plastic wood is actually really easy! Don't be afraid with it, you will be able to pull it up and put it back on. If the sunglasses DIY doesn't work for you, you can look at the video from P3 cars on installing their vent gauge. It will show you how to take up that plastic piece. Merry Christmas!

just take 5 minutes, and pull out the center console. literally, 5 minutes.

can't you get toothpics as narrow as the coin? Or you can get something flat and firm and put some double sided tape and try that.
