Procede V5 installed, I have some questions

I got my procede installed last night, drove it around a bit and all is great. The car is MUCH more powerful. BUT I switched it so the fuel gauge reads boost and I am not reading anything higher than 11 psi floored in 3rd gear. I have catless DPs, aftermarket chargepipe and intercooler. Other people with similar mods I have read around are reading 14 ish psi. Do you think I have a leak? I did change some intercooler piping and the intercooler is pretty shitty so its cooling may be to blame, but then again it is 35 outside right now and it should keep cool pretty easy. There may be one spot where it could be leaking slightly that I will have to check, but does it seem like I am leaking somewhere?

Does the procede need more time to autotune? Also on top of that, about 4 of the 12 gallons in the tank were 104 octane, so wouldn't that also help up the boost? 11 psi just seems low.

I don't have the user software on my computer yet b/c I don't have the cable but as soon as I get it(hopefully tomorrow) I can do some data logging for some real numbers. Any ideas though?

Hmm... running my mods I get autotuned to about 15

The best thing you could do is to give it some time and let it autotune

Either that or theres a leak, how long did it take before you saw 15? I am going to check for leaks tomorrow regardless.

Since you don't have laptop communication yet, go to display mode 5 (through command center or by double-clicking on hazard button). This will show current autotuned boost level on fuel gauge. Given your mods and octane, it's probably going to read 14-16psi depending on how much autotuning time you gave it. Then select display mode 1 which will show actual boost. Do a third gear pull. You should see boost reading peak out very close to the current autotuned boost value you saw earlier. If it doesn't, you have a boost leak.

Just keep in mind that you wont see peak boost until 5000-5500pm. This is the value you want to take note of. Hope that helps...

Ok sweet, I will try that tomorrow and report back. Hopefully I will be able to get the computer hooked up tom. Sorry for the freak out yesterday shiv, things went crazy and not sure why, but all is good now.

On my V5 I only have up to Mode 4... not Mode 5.

On the command reference sheet I see "Current AutoTuned Boost+IC" as Mode 2 - Option 5.

I went into the Command Center pulled cruise stalk back twice... Tac went to 2k. bumped the stalk up to 50kph. then hit the cruise button in and the hazards flashed for a second.... After that nothing changed. Where does it display what my current auto tuned boost level is? My fuel and temp gauges stayed the same.... did I do it wrong?

On the way to work I did what you said shiv and sure enough autotune boost says 14 and in third I see peak boost at 10.5-11. I'll hunt down the leak and see if I can get it fixed.

I just installed my Procede yesterday as well and tried to set the fuel gauge to boost but no go, nothing happened after the hazards.

Also how do I know I have v5 and not v4? I received my procede about 2 weeks ago and did order it through the new site as the enthusiast version

Right where I thought, where the charepipe went into the IC pipe. I had an after market pipe on both sides but I went back to the stock one. I wrapped it with with electrical tape really tight to make up the space for a tight fit, which worked perfectly, fit very snug and no leaks. All my 104 is gone now and I went back to my stock IC so I am reading like 13.5 autotune psi and it hits it everytime.

I just did this yesterday and it shows 13psi. Should I be boosting more with my mods?, possible boost leak?

I really cant imagine that, Im already considering moving to Cali. Except for the gas BLOWS out there. I would have to buy race fuel to supplement it. I would never want to run 91 daily

But, then again.. a friend's 2011 335i vert did 354rwhp on the same dyno with just DCI, Exhaust and a JB3 so I'm pretty sure he would have done more than I did without a piggyback

Just got back from some boost leak testing, everything seems to be running great! No leaks! Boosting at 15+ish peak(set at 16psi max) on Shell V-power 93. Should I raise this to see if she autotunes higher than that? or is that about the max safe boost for the stockers? I am gonna was gonna do some AFR readings but it started to rain and I was putting it in 3rd and 4th at 25mph and as soon as boost kicked in, she starting going sideways...
