AR design OCC HELP! :(

Hello guys;
I've recently bought an oil catch can from AR Design, I was looking up on the internet for some pictures of the AR OCC, and I found that there is a black thing inside the OCC that isn't found in my AR design one pics:

Just curious. I have the original OCC design. Why did you change? I, personally, like the old design better (more OEM looking). Does the new one perform better?

Come on AR...some feedback would be nice on the reason for the design change.

It is changed to reduce counter pressure and eliminate the risk for clogging. Just my 2c's.
