What kind of bumper/lip is this??

Spotted this on the street, what kind of mods does this have? Bumper, lip, fender? Looks so evil

That's either a fully converted M3 or authentic one.....You can't tell from the pictures.

But that lip is insanely disproportionate to rest of the car....

EDIT: Actually that's probably a 335....I think I see an FMIC. Unless it's supercharged?

me thinks its an M3.. all those parts plus converting from E90 front to E92 front would be outrageously expensive and cost more than upgrading from a 335i to M3.

Why would someone in the states do this? The majority of people who do this conversion can't afford an M3 because of taxes.

did the car have quad tips? can't really tell since the car's cut off. it looks like an ///M since the tips that are shown are right underneath the grille instead of them closer to the outside of the bumper. do you not think it's an m3 because of its badging which is missing the 3? the cf karbonwerke trunk is aftermarket and needs new badging.

in most cases, people leave it debadged since they don't know where exactly to place it and some may argue that it's cleaner. some just kinda eye the badge location on an oem trunk and try to place it around the same area. some actually bring out the tape measure and take measurements from the oem trunk so it's an exact and precise placement on their new trunk. and some just put the ///M so it'll be easier to get away with and line up than two badges since they're not connected.

with that said, the badge in the picture looks to be a little too low. therefore, you see why putting on a new badge without an outline of where to place it may be frustrating.

not necessarily, look up ironic and magmd's cars. ironic has done complete oem m3 body conversion on his e92 335i. magmd did a e92 mtech front end conversion on his e90 330i and then did a oem m3 front end conversion.

all e9x m3 share the headlights, the headlights only differ for the non-m's.

everything looks to be oem so it's probably an ///M or a real body conversion. rep m3 parts wouldn't look this clean.

this is one of the most confusing threads. its an m3, its not an m3, it has a fmic, its a coupe, tan leather, beige leather... on and on.

one thing i know forsure is that it is a 4 door lci e90. the kick tail and lci lights are a dead give away. lci sedans now have full kidneys like the coupes now too.

OP mods are carbon lip, carbon csl trunk, black kidneys. looks like all the bumpers and stuff are oem. that one lip changes the look completely.
