Unused wire in battery compartment?

Hey guys i have a random wire coming out from that wire sleeve. Its blue and i think burgundy and its wrapped...i was wondering if anyone knew if that goes any where...if it helps my car is a 2006 325i 4door

Dude... that's the wire that they use to ship the car to keep the batterie from dying. So don't worry be happy...jeje.

btw anyone happen to know any shops down in LA (818) area that can register my battery for me. I dont exactly want to bring it to the dealer
