Thanks alot for the info Jason. That's no wonder why I couldn't understand why Carlos replied to my last post instead of Steve. I PM'd Trendix today to make sure there will be NO surprises when I drive down there to pick up my wheels this Friday 2/16/07.

Yeah, I've been waiting a while for Trendix to come out with their E92 335i Coupe Rear Lip Spoiler, and finally, it's now available. In addition, they're offering it already painted and shipped for $325 (until 2/28/07)...I just called Trendix the other day and ordered mine.

Even with what I perceived to be good communications with Carlos, my rims were not there at the Trendix shop in Santa Ana - left empty handed .

Sorry to hear tiger9269. I've also been having some issues with an oem style spoiler that I purchased back in December! Poor paint quality by the body shop they partner with resulted in a return for replacement item...still don't have it today.

i have an issue with trendix too, I paid in FULL for a set of RE IKON exhaust and black grills on Feb. 14 and the item was "shipped out" on Feb. 19, but now, 5 business days later, on UPS tracking the status is still "Billing information received", and i called UPS today and they said that is because the item is still at the shipper and not in UPS's hands...

i don't understand why this is happening and i hope the new management is aware of this...

This guy named Carlos, of what he calls the "new" Trendix lacks honesty. I'd think twice about ordering from him again.

Here is the quote from Carlos on the JKtech 19" wheels thread posted 2/12/07, "Your wheels have been sitting here since last week just waiting for the balance to be paid for."

After driving 400+ miles to Trendix's 202 E. Alton Avenue location in Santa Ana, CA, on 2/17/07 I found out that my order was NOT there as promised.

As a small consolation, Trendix said they'd be taking care of the UPS shipping costs for delivery to Northern California as a small consolation. Well, here is my UPS tracking number that Carlos PM'd me:

So, Carlos why don't you stop playing games ??? and send me my 2 sets of hyperblack w/POLISHED lips (19x8.5 w/38mm offset fronts) and (19x9.5 w/30mm offset rears) by releasing it to UPS for pickup.

Here is my tracking. I just order a H&R Sport springs from him. Carlos is very fast in reply PM. I'm still waiting for my springs to arrive. It should be here soon. Will keep you guys update. The status also "Billing Information Received". So what is that means ?

something is definitely wrong, because i also had a another package shipped out from, POMONA, CA on the same date, and i had it shipped to Vancouver, Canada, but the package that trendix was to ship me was to WA is till having the status of "billing information received", but i've already received the other package even though it had to go through customs a little further distance to Vancouver

Right, but there is a bit of difference...you ordered springs, I'm about to order a coilover set that costs around $1,600...

I've called the company before when Steve was working there, he picked up everytime. I tried calling a couple of days ago, as I figured the questions I had can be answered instantly rather than pm'ing back and forth. Both times I called, no one picked up and I called during business hours as well. I assumed they left the number the same as the answering machine still said it was the company's number.

Since Trendix has a new management, Steve and Kai doesnt do anything with this problems anymore. I should say that since they are in the transition of taking over the company (inventories and all). I think those who are in the bad situation like this should understand that Carlos is doing the best he can to maintain the standards and good reputation that Steve and Kai left for Trendix inc. For those who ordered, waiting for a part to be delivered, or that needs a part to be picked up, make sure you clear it up with the new Trendix management or Carlos to avoid negative feedbacks on both parties. To all the customers, good luck on getting your ordered parts.

I delt with Steve and Kai before and I was very well satisfied with their customer service.

What i have found from UPS:

"I've been tracking my package, but it's not moving. Why?

Package movement information is captured each time a tracking label is scanned in the UPS delivery system. When your package is in transit, or over a weekend, tracking information may not be updated. Here are explanations for common scans you might see when tracking your package:


Billing Information Received: UPS has received the electronic transmission of package detail from the shipper. It does not necessarily mean that UPS has taken possession of the package.
Origin: The package has been received at the originating UPS location.

Should I be concerned, I ordered a trunk spoiler from them last week and they have billed my credit card. Geez, I have ordered aftermarket parts from 3 different venders for my car so far and its turning out to be more of a pain than ever. To top it off, I havent received my car yet either!

Give it a little time fellas. Odds are good it'll work out in the end; if it doesn't I am sure having this forum available will help you resolve any issues.

I ordered matte black grilles shipped to Toronto from Trendix last month, I got them in a week - the grilles chipped and Carlos (who had taken over in the iterim) agreed to ship me replacements free of charge. I will keep you updated, but so far that says good CS to me.

The thing with UPS is that they are pretty slow at updating. I've ordered a few things from Trendix and every time I checked the status, it's always pretty slow. This is the reason why I dont like UPS all that much. You guys should wait a lil more and see what happens.
