halogen to xenon error fixed!
hey everyone I finally got around fixing the error after the conversion.
I took me a while to install it, but the concept is fairly simple. You just need 2 bosch relays, 2 27w halogen lamps (which will never be used, just to fool the computer), 2 halogen connectors and 2 10 amp fuses with fuse holder. Oh and 14g wire. Please refer to my HALOGEN TO XENON thread for more info. I'm considering preparing these harnesses myself if anyone is interested, but they take a lot of time, so I'm thinking I would charge around $200 for them, all parts included. but if you want to do it yourself go ahead, the info is in the thread. ps: I wired it so that the fog lights turn on together with the xenons. so basically the computer reads the filament of the fogs for the low beam and the filament of the new 27w lamps for the fogs. let me know if you have any questions.

it doesnt have to be a bosh relay, but it has to be a relay with pin 87 and is "notmally closed". But you should go with the bosch relay, you can get it at partsexpress.com and also buy the relay connector that includes the diode along the coil, that way you don't have to buy a separate diode like I did.
There are no resistors needed! look at the diagram i posted, it should explain everything. let me know if you have any questions though
