Doubtful. I would imagine that it requires either a special chipset or wiring. I might be wrong though...

Says in that brochure that RTTI can be ordered with HD Radio. Is that true?

I'm willing to sacrifice some degree of audio quality for content! Yes. Besides, HD radio depends greatly on your geographic proximity to the station broadcasting. Since I'm in Delaware, I would be on the fringe of Philly, Wash, Baltimore, etc. and it would not sound as good.

The order code is 653. The MSRP is $500, don't know what the wholesale price is.

Yeah, it seems a bit pricey, but so is $595 for Sirius. Again, I think the benefit is going to depend on one's proximity to the broadcast towers. The real drawback is that it is still just radio. If you want to listen to commercials and some morning zoo guy in a hawaian shirt in wonderful digital quality, be my guest!

Same crap but in HD, I don't care listen to proactive commercials in HD

btw: satellites radios is going to come out in HD too

XM lunch their 1st HD channel "XM pops" and it sounds great but is classical music

If I had an infinite amount of cash I'd launch my own satellite radio that only had one channel, so all the bandwidth could be devoted to that and that it would play only what I wanted in lossless format
