Step. 335 + Vishnu = Tire spin?

For any of you Vishnu equipped steptronic 335's, in first gear with traction control disabled does the car spin completely through first? Any spin through second?

get some meaty rear tires. 275's should help you to put more of that power down... Although, you will probably spin those too.

Not a step, but have PROceed with a 6 speed manual transmission and don't have traction issues. I have done first gear roll-ons as well as hard launches off the line and the car hooks up very well.

I'm in SoCal and the temps have been in the 60's and 70's since I did the PROceed so maybe that has something to do with the success of the tires hooking up.

My stock 335 auto spins the wheels through first, and slips into second.. and even slips for a few seconds in second at 25-30 mph if I downshift and peg it. Although its been cold weather since i got the car, and my tires dont like the cold

Do you mess with the DTC to achieve that or do you just leave it normal as is once you start the car?

Well since I have a step 335i and the PROcede I can answer this.....
yes, you can spin them through 1st and 2nd gear.

I actually tripped the traction control the other day at 60+ mph.

Went to pass a slow moving car in the fast lane.
Had an opening in traffic but had to get on her quickly.
Stabbed the throttle down and when it down shifted the traction control light blinked 3 times.
Yeah, the steptronic PROcede 335i sedan is fast.
I think it will spin easier than the manuals some time because of the quick shifts and lower final drive ratio.
