Matching front reflector trouble during state inspections?

Anybody had any issues getting their car inspected after they switched from the yellow reflector to the matching reflectors? My car comes in two weeks and I'm thinking about getting them switched out.

I don 't think so but you might try this.

When you remove the amber reflector, keep it If they give you any grief at inspection time, put a piece of double sided tape on the back of the amber reflector and adhere it over the painted one. After it passes inspection, take it off. I really don't think there will be a problem.

i dont think there is any law that says you HAVE to have an amber reflector. i believe it just says your turn signals must be amber when they are activitied. so if you are worried, just get/leave the amber bulbs in there for inspection. then after you pass, but in some pretty blue or white ones.

Acually, I think someone pulled up the DOT reg at one point that required amber reflectors on the front sides of the car. while else would BMW fuglify (the act of making something fugly) the front of the US Spec E90 and E92 by putting amber reflectors?

Oh, and there MAY be a reg about front turn signals being amber, but unfortunately there is no such reg for rear turn signals I HATE red turn signals....just need to buy me some blacklines or euro taillights :-D

yeah when i lived in NY...you had to get state inspections....depending on who is doing the inspecting....this would be a violation....if they noticed, but as DrGP said just stick the old one and you should be fine
