Tint and paint

I wanted to tint my stock windows and heard some stories about tint not lasting and bubbling. Anybody have advice?

Also, my 328 coupe front bumper grate has some paint worn away and want to know what I should use to touch it up.

Recommendations appreciated.

Just go to a quality, reputable tint shop and you should be fine. Of course years down the road tint will probably need to be redone.

Tint will only bubble if you go to some random shop and they would half-ass it.
Reputable shop would stand behind their work, for as long as you own your car.
It may be more expensive, but you don't want your car to look like one of those ghetto rides you see all over town, right?

I paid $450 to tint my E92 and it was worth every penny. 3 years and not a single issue.

So the tint shop near me is charging $300 for lifetime warranty but they say they only recommend 3M for my car due to the GPS. All the 3M tint I see looks so matte it's not natural looking at all. I'm not a big fan. I don't want a mirror either, but I like the stock tinted window look. Anybody know which brand gives that?

So far my choices are:
3M for $300, lifetime (I wont have the car that long)

Llumar for $229
5 year warranty

Hmmm...

My local tint shop I always go to are decent priced but I know they do great tint work. $239 with a 5 year warranty for Llumar tint.

But I've been quoted anywhere from $200-$300 before.

I paid $300 for Huper Optik. The shop used an adhesive mixture to hold the tint on the dot matrix and it came out pretty much flawlessly.
