Wheel balancing weights
Following on from a post in the main thread. Who out of us UK people has wheel weights on the outside of the wheel i.e visible.
I do and its annoying me. :mad: :mad: Anyone with a 320D and standard 16" got wheel weights?? |

But they OE tyres are fitted and balanced at the factory, not in the UK. The weights need to be fitted where the balancing machine says so. So it depends on the tyre. (as weights are to balance the tyre mainly, not the wheel) So it's pot luck really. My M sport wheels don't really have anywhere suitable to stick the weights on the front, so they are tucked in behind the rear of the spokes. If your wheel design has a nice flat rim on the front, then thats where weights may be put....
