How difficult is it to change the Roundell on the steering wheel

New 335i coupe coming in May. Since I ordered the Sapphire and Coral red combo, I was contemplating a replacing the stock rondell with a red one from Bimmian. (perhaps on the wheels as well?). Are there any tricks or drawbacks to changing this ? BTW, I will be leasing, so I will need to return it to stock at lease end. Should I bother?

Thanks for the constructive criticism and your informative answer. It seems to me that some on this forum that are more interested in correct spelling and punctuation than in answering legitimate questions. I guess there are those on every forum. I hope you all can forgive me for my transgression. BTW, my typing skills are also rudimentary. Sorry in advance if I happen to misspell a word in the future.

All I know is that I tried to change the roundel front hood insignia, and found out that it is attached with grommets that apparently need some special tool to take off. I improvised, and used super glue. (The decal Roundel had deteriorated to a point that it flaked off). I assume that attaching the Roundel to a steering wheel may need some ingenuity.

DONT DO IT! Search and youll find out it cant be replaced. Overlays or sticking it on top of the exsiting one would work fine.

Bimmian only has the inlays for the roundels, these are not replacements so you will not be removing anything, they can peel off when you return the car. IMO these are not the best way to go, they do not stick very well. But then again I have not seen full replacements in red, but I am sure they are out there somewhere?
