Bmw leather steering wheel for m sport s w

I am thinking update my current leather steering wheel for m steering wheel.however, the price for the msw is ok,but I need to pay 1000 for the air bag.

is there any possible way to modify my current leather sw's airbag to the msw? Since my current sw is not a sport one.

Or could I sell my current sw to somebody? Do someone need them? And I could pay for part of my updating costs.

Thanks and looking for help

Which steering wheel do you currently have? It is unlikely that the airbag will fit so you'll need a new one.

Thanks bro
Seems I need to buy a new airbag with the m steering wheel, which at least cost me 1500 Usd

My current one is the most common steering wheel. Not sport type

Yes, you have to purchase the sport air bag for the M Sport steering wheel. You can't modify your non-sport airbag

I think you're exaggerating the pricing. I got a complete M-Tech wheel with airbag to replace my non-stock wheel for under 1000 USD. I got it off EBay from AGE Styling in Sweden. Perfect, brand new OEM installed in about 10 minutes and I couldn't be happier. Here's a link to ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E...#ht_2561wt_989

Thanks pathy

The price is what I got from my BMW dealer,I also think they are far too expensive.

The human work here are also expensive in Switzerland. I will check the website that you give to me

If you have a screwdriver & ratchet set, this is an extremely easy install to do yourself so you don't have to worry about paying to have the swap done. There are very good instructions with pictures in the DIY section.
