Pre LCI non cold weather bumper on cold weather car
Hello all:
Did several searches and reviewed the results but I cannot seem to find the relevant information. Recently purchased a 2007 328i with the headlight washers. I am getting it clearbra'd all around and will be purchasing m tech side sills (which I think are subtle but fit the zsp better) and a new front bumper to be clearbra'd. It appears that to delete the headlight washers, which I have already come to hate, you can either pull fuse 43, or disconnect the pump from the wiring harness under the passenger front wheel well. I will probably be doing the latter. My question is since I am disabling the spritzers anyway, I would like the new front bumper I'm ordering for paint and film to be the non-cold weather bumper without cutouts (Part 51117140859). Once I remove the covers, would this sit fine on the front end or would the pieces underneath the washer cover stick up a bit too much and get in the way? I'd rather not have to fill or drill holes, so if I can put the non cutout front bumper right over the headlight washers and use an rho plate holder it would make my day ![]() I'm ordering the parts from Tischer today and getting everything installed in the next couple weeks among other goodies-coming from an old maxima, this thing rocks! Thanks for your help guys! |
