Procede V4 newbie questions - yes i tried to search

I bought a used procede v4 from an e90post member, installed it today and it runs pretty good.

Still learning all the functionality and haven't gotten a chance to update it to v5 yet.

Whenever I accelerate heavily and I break traction, for example, romping on it from a dead stop in 1st gear (i am 6AT) , I see the DSC/DTC flash.

I am confused though because the hazard lights also flash when the DSC/DTC flash during that sort of heavy acceleration.

I am on map 1, I havent plugged the unit to my laptop or installed the serial/usb cable yet.

I did some searching and from what I gather, the hazards flashing is supposed to denote meth flow? I am running it on map one, I verified that though both the cruise control stalk and dtc click switching of maps. I definitely do not own a meth system.

Can someone let me know if this is a normal function or did I mess up installing it?

Thanks

The only possible functions of the flashing (in my uneducated opinion) are either a warning light or a shift light because I am at a high RPM when the hazards flash.

Right/Wrong?

probably your shift light. Make sure "injection mode" in the vishnu software is at 0. If your blinkers are still flashing, then its the shift light that the previous owner probably set.

you can do it through the command center with engine off, ignition on.
