Another Sonic S1 Coilover Review
I've had the coilovers on the car for about 2-3 weeks and I've put 300-400 miles on them. Im happy! The ride is close to stock, however handling is a huge improvment. The car is more planted threw turns. I gave a ride to a friend who also has a 335i ( stock ) and he was amazed at how much better the car felt. The product is top notch, the customer service is ouststanding. I had tons of questions about set-up and i always received a reply, even got a phone call. Theses coilovers have exceeded my expectations on build quality and performance.

Glad to hear I am considering these coilovers.
I would like to hear from someone that has had these on their car for 20k or 30k mi. I expect them to perform well during the first 500 mi or 8 k mi even, but with a 1 yr warranty I am concerned about the long term durability. Needless to say it does not instill a lot of confidence when a manufacturer will only stand behind their product for 12 mo. Last thing I want to do is have to replace them after 5 yrs. |

[QUOTE=Hellrot Sachin;8704234]Sounds great! How are the small cracks in the roads (more noticeable). Any worsening of noise or vibrations?
Thanks, Sachin[/QUOTE Maybe a little more noticable. Everything is quite. I have yet to play with the dampening, I think i have them all set to 1 |

Jason,
Thanks for the review! Hope you got everything worked out. You might want to try different damping setting, 1 might be too soft. Sachin, 1 being lowest, and 12 being highest. |

I'm considering these coilovers but this is my exact worry! I almost would rather get a set of H&R springs with Koni FSD's just for some piece of mind.

Personally I had the coils on my personal car for 2 years now, and the quality of the ride is still good. (not bottom out on bumps or potholes, and quality of the ride is smooth). The manufacturer have been in business for 11 years is a sign for doing something right! Let me know if you have any other questions, feel free to drop a PM. |

I've heard some interesting things about these coilovers. My friend has his set to the lowest setting in the rear but my stock sport suspension sits the same as his if not lower. His install is fine, too. Its just weird
