Changing wheels
I ordered some p40 reps from Bavarian and waiting to find the best time to put them on right now. Had a question, and I did a lot of searches with no direct answer, but anyways, will a 2-ton trolley jack be enough to jack up the car? The mounting points are made of plastic (I think) and it looks very unsafe. I Have tried to see if I can jack the car up so the wheel is free, but the jack or the car always makes some sound and I FREAK, so I quickly lower it before the wheel can have a free spin.
I might seem like a puss right now, but I'm not trying to break my car. Is it safe to jack from the designated mounting points without the oem jack? What precautions do I have to take? All help is really appreciated. |

A 2-ton jack is more than enough.
