Is there any point in putting a 10" sub in the trunk?
So I'm getting a new (well, another) E92 soon, and so far I've been really happy with my current E92's Logic7 system (after doing some tweaking thanks to Malekreza's settings). I'm getting the HK upgrade in the new car, and was thinking of putting in my old (from my E46) JL Audio 10" sub/box -- I used to have it firing through the ski-pass, and its effect was dramatically diminished when the armrest was covering the ski-pass... so... I'm wondering if a 10" sub in a sealed off trunk would even have much of an effect other than rattling my license plate holder every now and then? (yes, I'd use some foam )
I'm not really willing to spend a whole lot more or sacrifice more trunk space. Any thoughts? |

Subwoofer is always a nice upgrade. The logic7 is a semi decent OEM system but still cannot create true bass that is top notch. I would recommend installing a subwoofer of some type or transferring what you have over.
Just like a home theater... surround sound is great but adding a subwoofer makes it better. |
