1.903 60' is GREAT. Imagine that same time with an Xede equiped car running 111mph instead of 104. It would probably do a 12.6 @ 111mph.

Umm, what do you mean "coupe" power??
They are the same engine, transmission, and so forth.
And from the dyno days so far, it seems the sedans are putting down equal, if not slightly more (as someone noted) power than the coupes.

More like...."ahh 335i auto power"

Yeah, sadly the track closest to me (LACR) is known to be REALLY slow.
2700 feet elevation and almost always a headwind...it bites.
I may give it a go with my PROcede 335i soon though just for giggles.

Yeah the 13.34 was me on stock tires. If it wasn't for the torque management on the auto the car would go faster than 13.25 stock on the dr's. If you try and load the converter- ie: build boost to hard it feels like it kills power. The best runs came from stalling the converter to about 2200 rpm.

Welcome to the forum! Maybe what you are feeling is the DSC/DTC kicking in when you try to power break? I am assuming you had it completely (well as complete as allowed) by holding the DSC button for >3 seconds? Maybe if it is a DSC issue, it can be worked around.

Regardless, still an impressive run!

Yeah that's what i did, I held it down for three seconds until the icon changes on the cluster. I also noticed the car will not do a stationary burn out, it starts to buck and you have to release the brakes and let it roll out to heat up the tires.
Has anyone else tried to do a stationary burn out with a 335i auto?

Well I dont have a 335 yet but when I get one with the auto of course I will be putting an LSD so it wont be doing one-leggers I mean sometimes its possible to spin both but I dont know....

This really sounds like an inhibitory action by the DSC. Kind of like the 6-spd in the M5.

I hope this isn't a new wave of overbearing electronic nannies by BMW to discourage hard launches. I guess we will see when some guys launch on DRs in the 6-speeds. A simple line lock may be able to circumvent the burnout issue...but you really shouldn't have to do that.

If you're getting the Auto, I would assume you're not going to take your car to the track much. Then you really don't need an LSD. Most AMG cars don't have LSD and they launch just fine for an Automatic. Pcars don't have LSD and they handle and launch just fine as well.
I think it makes the difference only if you're planning on tracking the car since the car is already very balanced.
