Cruise Control Retro Fit - Can a dealer do it?
I know with VAG cars it's a doddle to do. Is it the same for a 3 series? I might have to take folding seats rather than cruise as an option on my co. car but would like it retrofitted with my own money (or on company expenses!).

iirc not easy or cheap - could be wrong though. Mate had it retroffited on his Rocco -same as list price, v.good that VAG do that.
Thought it came as standard?

I had a quote for my 1 Series - essentially the same. Cost is about £300 for parts and £350 for labour + VAT. You can DIY if you are brave, apart from the codeing.
In addition to the new stalk to control it you need a new lower cowel on the steering column. |

I have been told that if the car is a 4 cyl E90 then all you need is the stalk, new plastics around the seering wheel and coding by the dealer, if you found the part from ebay then probably cost circa £300-400 with stealer labour.
