Question Does anyone know what boost the 335is runs?

I know the stock 335i runs around 8psi, what did BMW kick it up to in the 335is?

I believe it runs 11.6 and goes to 14.5 with overboost.

I was driving a 335is a couple days ago and I saw just over 12psi in 65F temps. So depending on temp, you'd probably see 10-14psi peak (the hotter, the more boost).

It's a solid 12 throughout. Did stock logging when I first received the car. Overboost never passed 13 cold or hot.

Shiv - Is there still a noticeable gain with a Procede V5 on a 335is given the fact that the "is" runs close to similar boost as the Procede?

Or is it just that the Procede provides the higher performance most of the time vs. just 7 seconds of overboost on the stock is?

The procede is still a must have. The amount of torque is just insane. Trust me my car knows. In the shop getting a new diff!

Seriously though, the gains are insane and 15psi otherwise stock through the power band is completely different than 12 with a short bump to 13 for a small part of one gear.

Not to mention you hold almost full boost through manual shifts.
