I have always liked Zymol..very easy to apply and remove...Definetly one of the better waxes out there. That is what I used to always use in the past when I had the time to do it myself..Lately I have been going to a detail shop for washes weekly and wax once a month
20 for a wash 40 wash/wax.

I think he uses Ardex products but he also mixes in beeswax and banana oil (I think). He said he is considering going back to Zymol. Or maybe using Zaino products.

Choices choices...

What color is your car? That would impact suggestions. And are you looking for real wax, or a sealant? Zaino's a sealant, and sealants tend to last longer than usual wax.

Your prep work before applying the wax is also going to be important.

You should look into Zaino or Jeff's Werkstatt - both are really good and aren't that hard to use.

Zaino just released their new Z-AIO and Z-CS, which is even easier than their Z2/Z5 although most people would still layer Z-CS on top of Z2/Z5 (you don't HAVE to though). But that's going to get expensive quick. Z5 is recommended for light swirls and is best for dark colored cars, Z2 for light colors.

With Werkstatt you could get their Prime and Acrylic Jet Trigger (for light colors) or Carnauba Jet (for dark colors).

And this weekend I had asked a question on Autopia and a couple of people were recommending Duragloss Aqua Wax. They say it lasts pretty long, and gives a shiny wet look. And people have applied it while drying or after drying and it sounds easy to use.

Some good waxes I've heard of are P21S Carnauba Wax, and Poor Boy's Natty's Blue.

Check out the sticky at the top of this thread for more detailing info, and search up on this stuff before making a decision

BTW these suggestions are from my VERY limited experience and of products I've looked into. Many other things out there and many more experienced people out there. I just read a lot

That's a great wax to use, although this board seems to prefer Zaino. In any event, anything you can find at your local AutoZone or Pep Boy's probably isn't a good bet. They're good, but you can find much better, at similar prices.

P21S and Poorboy's World is quite good as well.

Go for the Blue if you have a darker color.

Good luck.

for simplicity just use Eagle F1's Nano Spray Wax, spray on, wipe off, and it doesnt have that waxy build up, goes on smooth, wipes smooth.

but if you have time, just grab meguairs gold class liquid wax, apply to applicator and wipe off residue

Another vote for Zaino. The new AIO from Zaino looks interesting.

I'll go with exceldetail on the Fourstar UPP suggestion. I've used that for a couple years now and love it. Super easy to apply and remove, doesn't leave hazing or streaking for me when I buff it off.
A good topper for that if you want a carnauba over is S100. Same thing as P21S but a heck of a lot cheaper and you can pick S100 up from Harley dealers. I think it's like $17 a can.
Like UPP it's super easy to apply and remove. You don't want to let it haze, you basically wipe a panel and then remove that panel before it completely dries. Doesn't last nearly as long but if you put it over a sealant it just adds a little extra "pop".

p.s. exceldetail.com is a good place to shop for products. That's where I ordered all my Optimum products and foam pads.

It sounds like you just want something locally available that will be easy on and off and will provide fair protection. If that is the case I would suggest Mothers FX Synwax. Use it along with the FX spray wax and you should get two months of durability.

I agree with Mothers FX, I've used it and it is extremely easy to apply and remove and it looks really good too. Walmart even started to carry it now so it's easy to find locally.

If you have a Car Quest near by you can try DuraGloss 105 followed by their Aquawax spray wax. Both excellent products at a good price.
