That's sort of like asking "what's the best food for me to eat?"
If you indicate what year coupe you have, and whether it has the ZSP, and what size wheels you have, and whether you want summer or A/S, and whether you value handling or ride, etc., etc., then maybe someone can intelligently respond. Tom |

For tires in the mid price range, we're moving a lot of Hankook Ventus as well as Continental DW/DWS. From there, you can move up to PS2 or similar, or down to, god forbid, unknown, never-heard of brands that run $80 a pop. But yeah, it helps to be a bit more specific

i currently have hankook v12's, i like them but after a few suspension changes i seem to be loosing my rear end allot, it may be because the tires are close to being worn, i dont know. but in a few months when i need new tires im going to get an extreme summer tire which seems to be the top class on the tire rack web site. not sure at this time if im going to go with a more expensive brand as in bridgestone or dunlop, but the hankook r-s3 may be the route i take.

I love my PS2s. The ride is definitely better than the OEM RFT Potenzas I had before. Handling is about the same and possibly better with no tire squeal at all. Tire wear seems to be doing well.

How do you all feel about the POTENZA RE760? I'm looking at a set of them for a good price or the Conti DW's

I had the General Exclaims UHP's on a VW GTI and if I ever need tires for the 335 this is where I go again. I shopped by price and owner rating at the Tire Rack web site. I like a quiet tire and on the Tucson roads it works for me.

I have owened the General Exclaims
The General Exclaims have a very soft sidewall. They squirm all over the place. I replaced with Yokohama S Drive, and the difference was night and day!

I just mounted Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Specs and I LOVE them. The grip is tremendous and the ride comfort and noise levels are WAAAAAAY better than my old runflats. They're also good looking and cheap

I've had both and the Conti Dw's are superior to the generals. Couple hundred bucks more, but worth it in my opinion.

Well, I have a Jeep that I can drive in any inclement weather. Plus I've had a few DD mustangs that I drove no matter what the condition on summer tires. I just can't justify buying Star Specs or Kumho XS because they aren't really made for cold weather. Even when we don't have snow, it still gets down into the teens here. I don't think I'd mind a high performance summer tire, just not a 'race inspired' tire lol.
