Weird situation with windows

Wondering if anyoen has seen this

a 2006 320D M Sport. Left locked and checked the night before. This morning woke up to find 3 of the 4 windows fully wound down. Fourth window was fully shut and car was unlocked.

Bit worried noone would have had the keys. Also when we tried again later all 4 windows came down

very odd

My daughter had this on a Corsa. Seems like she had been holding the button on the locking fob down for too long. Simple as that.

thats what I thought but still dont explain why the 1 one window did not go down but when tried again later it did.

Also keys where hung up all night so very odd, only option is the kid messing about when he opened the front door in morning will check when he gets home and kill accordingly

Could that not be a case of someone trying to snatch the codes of your remote?

Not meaning to alarm as I have no idea how that all works

Just, you know....they are all pretty desireable cars

Thankfully my BMW has never done this but my old Passat used to do this fairly regularly.

Even used to open the boot - which was spring loaded so it opened fully.

I even took to putting the keys in a hard case to make sure the buttons didn't get pressed but it still did it. Never worked out why, thankfully I got rid of the p.o.s. and its someone else's problem now...

I've read about this on the VW forum as a few Gti's have this problem but never heard of it with BMWs.

Just hope it was your boy.
