Tint question, 20% or 30%
Anybody got tint pic on Alpine White 328 or 335?
I want to do the same tint level all around.. I personally like the flow of same level all around and i'm debating from 20% all around or 30%. I know i will end up getting tint tickets in CA, but from my past experience, i only got caught once a year when i had limo tint on my e46. and the fine was like 100-150 bux per ticket. and i had my e46 for 4 years and with 4 tint tickets.. i'm willing to pay 100 or 150 bux for tint ticket per year as a donation to CA police department. |

Merging into another car due to lack of peripheral visability/'50-cent' themed fantacy rudely interrupted by the former scenario? Seriously, seeing through your windows under the gamut of lighting conditions is less important than your 330i sedan pimp action? How low can you go, player? I suggest a diet of carrots and malt liquor with that 15% tint, but //Matt is an official BMW representative, certainly certified in bling by BMW-NA, so what do I know? 35- is enough tint-myopia for me, and it's not a ticket regardless of the initiating factor of the citation.

anything below 25%, in my opinion, looks ghetto. i always get 35% tint, looks classy and legal in PA.

I can see out of my car wonderfully. The ONLY time it's an issue is backing up, in the dark, without street lights. Then I just roll down a window. And in California, ANY tint on you front windows is a ticket. Even 35%. |

Go with the 15%....It looks great on the black sapphire I have.
And go with 15% all the way around. I just used Chuy's Mobile Tinting, came to my house in Manhattan Beach and was done in 2 hrs. $175 and lifetime warranty. The only place you will get a ticket is LAX, stay away, those cops have nothing better to do. |

yea 20% is good, not so dark that you cant see out and people cant see in, but dark enough so that its not really easy to look in your car

I don't like what looks too dark on a white car but that's my opinion. |
