I replaced my current Smoker's Packager Ashtray and Lighter with the Sunglasses Tray. I used the lighting as seen in the DIY for the Lighted Sunglasses Tray. So, you'll need your own wiring. I actually have 2 of them - 1 out of a 2007 E90 and the other out of a 2009 E90.

I'll take $10 plus shipping for each.

Hey egash... tried to PM you, but I am apparently too new still to send PMs.

I am curious about your sunglass swap. I recently purchased an '08 e92 and would really like to do the swap. I am curious about the depth of the sunglass holder.

I wear Arnette Full House sunglasses, and really want to ensure they will fit. Would you happen to know how deep the holder is? Do you think it is deep enough to handle Arnette's? They are an inch and half at their highest point.

Hi. It is hard to get a good measurement after it is installed in the car.

My sunglasses are more Aviator Style and have plenty of room. I'd say 1.5" depth would work, but not much left over.

My dealer keeps these in stock - not sure about your dealer? If so, you could make sure there is clearance before purchasing.

I find the sunglasses tray to be much more practical. I keep my iPhone in their when driving.
