Press Release New Vendor: Active Autowerke E90 & E92 335 Exhaust and BOV Addon.

Hello Board,

Active Autowerke has just joined E90post.com as a Sponsor. For those of you who do not know about us I will give you a little info. We have been in business for over 25 years and have specialized in Force Induction. We have done many turbocharged and supercharged BMW's along the way. Of course we were just as excited as you were to here about the introduction of the BMW 335. With this said here are a few things we have been working on. Keep an eye out for a lot more from us.

p.s. If you guy have any other questions regarding Active Autowerke feel free to ask in the thread or give us a call. Thanks to E90Post for hosting this great site and allowing us to be a sponsor.
__________________________________________________ _______________

After a couple of months of R&D we are proud to release some of our parts for the BMW e90/e92 335.

We have done a great amount of testing at higher boost levels and the new Tuner exhaust definitely handles higher boost levels better than the factory exhaust. While running more boost on the factory system the cars performance was hindered, after replacing it with our new system we noticed considerably greater gains and smoother (Higher) torque curves. When bolted on to a completely stock 335 we are noticing around 12-15 rwhp gains on our Mustang Dyno. Higher boost #'s will be posted as soon as we are done with software development. This exhaust only weighs 37 lbs compared to the 70+ lb factory exhaust.

All tuner exhaust will come with 90MM tips. ex: E46 M3 exhaust comes with 80 mm tips. Please disregard tips in picture.
As far as the AA BOV Modification is concerned it is 100% plug and play. It has a completely factory look and can be replaced in minutes. No custom modification is needed at all. Another plus the sound is amazing!!!!!

Here are a couple pics and a video clip of the new Active Autowerke BMW 335 Tuner Exhaust and BOV piece. Feel free to email or call with any other questions.

What is the use of the BOV for the 335i? Is it for cosmetic purposes only or are there performance increases?

The exhaust looks great.. but somebody PLEASE stick a sock in that damn blowoff valve, so that it doesn't make some poor sap's car sound like a wheezing Honda cruising by, its hamster out of breath from running so hard on the treadmill.

The E90 325i and 330i need forced induction too.

Hello guys,

Thanks for the feedback. We are kind of slow when it comes to updating our website so it will be there soon. I will have pricing and more info available soon.

As far as the BOV, I understand it is not for everyone, but it does add a nice little sound and will sound much nicer when we add more boost, not to mention handle the boost better.

As far as mating the exhaust with software.................We will have something for you soon.

Nice to see you guys developing products for the 335. I like the sleeker look of the BOV setup that you guys went with, and it sounds good too (it kind of tial-ish ). I would like to see/hear some longer clips of that exhaust, but keep up the good work over there.
