Is wrapping a bumper with 5 layers of bubble wrap a safe way to ship one?
I'm almost ready to buy a new rear bumper but the seller plans to ship it with 5 layers of bubble wrap only through UPS. I was wondering if this is safe or not?
I personally don't feel comfortable with it since the bumper can/may get bent and you won't know until the bubble wrap is removed. |

The only way I would ship a bumper is in a box. If it's an OEM bumper he may get away with it since the bumpers are super durable.

my mtech rear got shipped to me in bubble wrap via greyhound and it got here fine. i had to pick it up at the greyhound station and stuffed it in from the front seat to back.

i never had a problem with it. its oem. shipping cost alot more if in a box. but with bubble wrap and duct tape dose the job..

i did this with my oem front and never had a problem.
