meth tank - sensor in side or bottom???

does it matter if you put the low fluid sensor in the side of the tank ??

or do you have to put it in the bottom of the tank?

It has to be on the side. If you put it on the bottom, there is no guarantee it will measure correctly.

Side so the float can properly move up and down. If you put it in the bottom, fluid swishing from front to back or side to side will make the sensor blink on and off.
