Fitment Question, NEED HELP PLZ!! (M3 hood to install on E90 335i)

The question: Does anyone know if a M3 sedan hood will fit on an e90 335i, Without replacing the front bumper and/or fenders to M3 bumper/fenders?

Judging by visually examining the front ends of both cars, its is noticeable that the lines on the hood above the headlights on the M3 are "sharper" or straighter if you prefer then the 335s lines in that area, And the grills on the M3 sedan does not have the chrome pieces above them on the hood as does the 335. BUT some M3's have those pieces?

Reference pics.
M3 with

M3 without...

335 with...(also look at the lines above the headlights)

The fenders on both cars look like they are the same, and obviously the front bumpers are different.

And here is the best pic of the front of my car for reference...

Here is what i am going for, but i will get to the bumper later, I already PM'd the owner to see if that is indeed an OEM hood, Because it is curved above the headlights, like a 335 hood. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=397570

Any Help is MUCH appreciated with my dilemma and i would like some answers so i can order the correct M3 hood from BMW, thank you for any help you can give.

(If your wondering why i want an OEM hood, its b/c i have a $1,000 savings card for my dealership which would make the difference on buying the hood $200 bucks, before paint!)

Your car is an e90, and because of that it won't fit without doing a front e90 to e92 conversion, because the e90 + e92 + e93 front end is designed like the e92, NOT the e90. The e90 m3 hood will not have the silver metal trim piece on the hood like your e90 does. That trim piece also went away on e90s during the LCI conversion for 09+ models. I don't believe they ever designed the e92 with the silver trim on top of the hood. (could be wrong though...)

You can reference that link to get an idea on what might be needed. If you can find the part #'s for the e90 m3 lights, e90 m3 bumper that might be a good starting point with the above reference.

Anyways, without switching the lights and bumpers, (though it seems you were looking at doing bumpers, wouldn't your front look a little funny with the m3 hood? If you're going that route, you might as well do the whole conversion including lights.. Otherwise you may want to look at other hood replacements instead of the OEM M3 hood

Looks like the guy in the referenced thread had custom Vorsteiner conversion. Are there any kits available now for this conversion? It looks really good.

I have no idea what the original post is talking about, "M3 with" and "M3 without" wtf?

M3 hood will not fit non-M3 period.
