What to do first Meth or FMIC

I currently run daily 96 octane on JB3 map7. The only other engine mod is EAS DCI, Forge DV and BSH OCC. I can't decide what to do next, FMIC or meth. If I do FMIC I will continue with 96 octane. If I run meth I was thinking I only need 91 octane and save money at the pump. I can't do both now so have to pick one. What do you guys think.

Thanks for responses guys, keep them coming. Welcome all opinions.

I've been leaning toward FMIC, looks like that's the most popular.

If you are looking for the most horsepower, its not even close. Meth will give you the biggest HP gains, and you can run 91 octane. Meth raises your octane level, and offers huge IAT reductions under sustained high boost pulls. I have never touched my stock intercooler, and have raced plenty of cars with FMIC and beat them. I wouldn't have the same results running against a car with meth if I weren't. Three biggest HP increases for the $ : Tune/Meth/Nitrous without a doubt.

I want to make more hp, but want to maintain it in the summer heat and after several pulls. Just nervous about installing meth and making sure it functions properly. How often do one need to check their meth system for proper functions.

if you don't want to deal with refilling a meth tank, checking the setup for clogs, leaks, etc, just skip the idea. A properly setup flow sensor will let you know immediately if there's a problem though...

If you do a quick one gear blast through 2nd or 3rd, maybe you don't need a FMIC and meth might be a better bet. But if you're like some of us who enjoy doing high speed runs through 5th gear, I'd get the FMIC first. No amount of meth will suppress heatsoak enough on that POS stock FMIC at the higher boost levels.
