hid fog problems.

hey guys i had hid about 4 months ago working with no problems. and then they started flickering i shipped them back to ddm tuning and they said there was nothing wrong. i had an extra set from my passat and i tryed them and they didnt work and i tryed the ddm set and they didnt work? questions>

1. the ddm tuning is 55w is that the problem(ran them all summer not 1 problem)
2. can the car not send power to the fog lights if not working?
3. my test ones where xentec 35w ballast why didnt they work?
4 help please! lol

You may need to install capacitors to get them to work correctly. Do a search here, you will find that fix, I have capacitors on mine for over 8 months now with no problems.
