For all you aviation aficionados, the greatest branding icon in aviation history returns. The Singapore Girl of Singapore Airlines "World's leading airline" returns to grace in all of SIA's ad's and commercials as she once did before. For over 40-50 years, the Singapore Girl has captured the imagination of the world, with her gentle and courteous service but was somewhat put on the back burner due to activists saying that she depicts woman in a sexual manner. But SIA basically said screw you and embarked on a 5 million dollar ad campaign to bring back its famous Singapore Girl. After 5 years of barely seeing her in their ads she returns with the same grace and smile that made Singapore Airlines famous over 50 years ago. A great moment in Aviation history.
